My story is about a girl named Sapphire who is a half vampire. Her father slept with a mortal woman who died when she was born. Sapphire and her brother Jonathan had moved from state to state trying to stay hidden from the Charlatans, the head vampires with a secret. Sapphire was almost raped and has forever shied away from boys and others. Well once they find friends of their dead fathers she starts to find herself again and falls in love with a werewolf. however the boy who almost raped her was turned by the Charlatans and now he is attacking her and scaring her. In the end her love says her. That's kind of the gist of it. If ya'll need more of an idea here's an piece of it.
This is Jon and her meeting the pack with Eliza, Lucas, and William. Their new family.
Guys this is Jonathan and Sapphire Esmond.” I brought my eyes back up but I kept them on Lucas. I scooted myself a bit behind Jon. William came and stood by my side. I didn’t know what but something made the two guys puff up. I was a little confused. I thought I was safe. I then looked over at Eliza and she gave a small shake to her head. Hmm something’s up. “They are a part of our family now. They are both born vamps, but Sapphire doesn’t drink blood nor does she hunt.” Lucas continued. “They have had a troubled life but are great.” Lucas turned away from us but I wasn’t really paying attention, I had the strange feeling that I was being stared at. “This is Drake,” he said and the first one in the line stepped forward and nodded.
Please to meet you,” he said with a sweet smile. So far it’s going good and I’m beginning to feel more comfortable.
Hi I’m Kerri,” Kerri said seductively. She then stepped forward towards Jon. But Eliza stepped in between them and Kerri faced Eliza.
We know,” Eliza hissed and I swear she flashed her fangs to Kerri. It caused her to growl and step back. Lucas stepped in between the two bickering girls. Drake then whispered something in Kerri’s ear causing her to stop growling.
And Jeremy,” he continued which pulled my attention away from the she wolf to the shaggy haired kid.
Sup,” he said giving a bob of his head causing his hair to bounce. He was trying to act cool but it came out a bit awkwardly. I only grinned.
This is Taylor our newest member.” I looked away from Jeremy flinging his hair out of his eyes to the newest member. And I found out what the strange staring feeling was coming from. But when I looked into his big brown eyes I felt something that I hadn’t ever felt before, not even with Zach. Something pulled me towards him but I resisted and stayed still. This feeling scared me; I’ve never been so attracted to someone. He then smiled at me and it was the most incredible smile ever. I blushed and gave a small smile of my own back.
Hi,” he said directly towards me. He kept staring at me with hi deep brown eyes, but I was guilty of staring back.
So Sapphire doesn’t hunt,” drake said causing me to pull my stare away and to look at the speaker.
Yeah,” I answered shyly.
Do you not have fangs,” he continued to ask. I didn’t want to talk to him I wanted to keep looking at Taylor.
I don’t know. I think that I might. I just eat and sleep like normal but it causes me to be very strong or fast,” I admitted.
But she’s still strong enough to fight off any attack,” Jon said almost directly towards Taylor. Was that a threat? This made me turn my attention back to Taylor. He didn’t seem to be phased by the comment.
There’s something different about you, Sapphire,” Drake continued. I wish he’d just stop talking about me.
Dude, your right, but what,” Jeremy chimed in. I have now concluded that Jeremy is possibly meat heat prep.
She smells wonderful,” Taylor said softly. It caused me to blush again.
He’s right, she smells nothing like a vampire.” Kerri said breaking her glare from Eliza.
It’s her gift. She has a connection with animals. Instead of running animals are close to her,” Lucas stated.
It’s the same with me. Instead of smelling incredibly raunchy and me turning my nose up. You all smell incredible, like woodsy and I enjoy it. But not like blood thirsty,” I said staying focused on Taylor. He then took a step towards me.
Well I’m sorry to have to cut this short but we have to go,” Lucas said causing both Taylor and I to look at him.
Well it was nice meeting you all,” I said politely. I have a feeling Lucas ended this on purpose.
I hope to see you again,” Taylor said as he was leaving. He was the last to leave but not the only one to say something. I wasn’t really paying any attention to the other guys as they gave their ‘byes.’ I watched as Taylor left, meeting him gave me butterflies. The good butterflies.
Answer on I need help naming my vampire story.?
Something in the text that jumped out at me was "Sapphire doesn't drink blood". But perhaps a title like "Half-turned" could be fitting since it acts as a reference to Sapphire's half-vampire status, as well as a reference to her werewolf beau. Or maybe something like "Bloodlust"?
