Boston Marathon: Suspect's body remains unclaimed, It's been nearly two weeks since the double explosions that killed three people and injured more than 170 other happened near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. In that time, authorities have identified, killed and/or captured two men who are believed to be responsible for the terror attacks. According to an article published by on April 26, the body of the dead suspect has yet to be claimed.

Reuters reports that the body 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev remains at the Massachusetts' chief medical examiner office more than a week after his death. Tamerlan was killed in a gunfight with police in the late night hours of Thursday, April 18.

Anzor Tsarnaev, the father of the two suspects allegedly told reporters that he plans to return to America from Russia to bury his son.

The 19-year-old suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was arrested after a nearly 24 hour manhunt, and is said to be recovering from gunshot wounds in a Massachusetts prison medical center.

The Tsarnaev brothers are the alleged suspects in the April 15 bombings at the Boston Marathon. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been formally charged with using a weapon of mass destruction, and with malicious destruction of property resulting in death in connection with those bombings.
