2. William Gholston, Michigan State
Gholston has good size for an NFL defensive end, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 281 pounds, but he has been known to struggle to get off blocks and can sometimes attempt to run around blockers instead of through them. He's athletic and very agile for his size, though, and has the potential to be an impact player on an NFL defense.
3. Joe Kruger, Utah
Kruger is a big, strong defensive end that has a great first step and the power to drive offensive tackles back into the pocket, disrupting plays. However, at times he stands up too quickly and takes himself out of plays by allowing offensive linemen to get leverage on him.
4. Malliciah Goodman, Clemson
Goodman is a strong defensive end that will likely be better in run support than as a pass rusher early in his NFL career. He doesn't possess great straight-line speed or great quickness, but he is strong enough to bull rush tackles. He's likely best fit as a 4-3 strong-side end.
5. Quanterus Smith, Western Kentucky
Smith has shown he has the potential to be an explosive pass rusher. He has the speed and length to beat offensive tackles around the edge. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL in November. His health probably caused his draft stock to fall, but he should be an early pick on Day 3.
