Peeping Toms fall through ceiling, land in a heap of trouble, According to an April 30, 2013 report by The Huffington Post, the two young men decided to spy on women using the restroom at a movie theater in Georgia when they got more than they expected.
The two suspects, both in their twenties, were crawling around inside the ceiling when it collapsed and deposited them in the women's bathroom below.
The men, who had allegedly been drinking to excess, climbed through the ceiling of the men's bathroom and made their journey to the women's facilities via a small crawlspace, according to the manager of Venture Value Theater in Duluth.
The suspects have been identified as Eduard Petrovich Kovynev, 26,and Eduard Alexander Kovynev, 27, but they will forever be known as the men from the headlines, "Peeping Toms fall through a ceiling." It's quite a legacy.
The Kovynevs were placed under arrest following the strange incident, which took place on Sunday evening. Gwinnett County Detention Center records indicate that the men will face charges of criminal damage to property in the second degree, peeping Tom and and public drunkenness. They were booked on Sunday and released the following day. They are free on a $5,000 bond.
It isn't every day that peeping Toms fall through a ceiling. Hopefully the two men have learned a valuable lesson.
