Aleksandra Nikolic and Andrey Melnichenko wedding cost $3.6 million, When the Russian billionaire married his former Miss Yugoslavia in 2005 a regular wedding singer was obviously not good enough.
Instead singers Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston were flown in by private jet and each paid $3.6 million (£2.2 million) to perform at the wedding party.
Forbes magazine reported that the wedding was so lavish that rumours were circulating that Melnichenko had a Russian chapel dismantled, shipped and rebuilt in the Cote d’Azur where the wedding took place.
