Polk County Ga. arrest report dated April 24, 2013, The Northwest Georgia Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover Polk and Haralson Counties. Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday April 24, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report.

Brandon Eugene Akins, 24, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with criminal trespass under the Family Violence Act (FVA), aggravated stalking under the Family Violence Act (FVA), simple assault under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and third degree cruelty to children. Akins remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication. See also (3/5/2013)

Erick Aquirre, 25, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with failure to dim head lights and driving without a license. Aquirre was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $1,560.

Richard Wayne Cantrell, 23, of was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn, driving too fast for conditions, failure to provide assistance and/or report an accident, failure to maintain lane. Edwin Ray Cook, 47, of Cartersville was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in magistrate court. Cook remains in custody at the time of this publication. A cash bond of $205.50 has been set. see also (5/4/2011)

Amanda Lynn Dempsey, 32, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespass. Dempsey remains in custody at the time of this publication.

James Roger Gilham, 64, of Lindale was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, no insurance, driving while unlicensed, no tag and safety restraint violations. Gilham was released the same day after posting six property bonds totaling $3,942.

Brian Lee Guice, 32, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court.

Nick Adam Ramsey, 23, of Cedartown is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court. See also (1/20/2013) (4/12/2011)

Caleb James Reddish, 22, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with first degree forgery and theft by taking. Reddish remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication. See also (3/13/2013)

Heather Brianna Tanner, 21, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by deception, three counts financial identity fraud and three counts financial transaction card fraud. Tanner was released the same day after posting three property bonds totaling $4,100.
