According to BelgeInfo, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and her royal husband's wedding was probably the most expensive in history.
The pair spent $34 million on the wedding at Westminster Abbey. There were $800,000 worth of flowers to decorate the chapel. Middleton's wedding band was $11,000 of Welsh gold from Prince William's late mother Princess Diana. And the security on the wedding cost an estimated $32 million while the Duchess' wedding dress was $434,000.
Celebrating their anniversary was something different though; it was more intimate.
Us magazine reported that on April 29, the pair spent their two year anniversary was spent privately.
"I'm afraid we're not giving any details on their anniversary plans, as [they are] private," a rep for St. James' Palace said.
But an insider revealed that they already celebrated their anniversary earlier because William was expected to be away on the actual wedding date because of his Royal Air Force duties.
Sources say pregnant Kate Middleton and husband Prince William enjoyed a romantic dinner together in London on Friday, April 26, after finishing their tour of the Harry Potter and Batman exhibits at Warner Bros. Studios. After dinner, they spent part of the weekend together in Norfolk before William returned to Anglesey, Wales, on Sunday, April 28, back to be a RAF pilot.
But you can only imagine what the royal couple has in store for their new baby, which is due in mid-July. Middleton has definitely been showing her baby bump lately too.
Just recently, the mom-to-be looked stunning and glowed in a polka-dot above-the-knee flowy Topshop dress with black LK Bennett heels and small black clutch, according to Mirror. She also wore a little black jacket to her trip to the Warner Bros studios, the home of the Making of Harry Potter, with husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry on April 26.
