During the Lakers’ playoff defeat last night (April 28) at the hands of the Spurs, Dwight Howard picked up two back-to-back technical fouls, leading to an ejection. Sadly (or happily?), it may have been his last time suiting up for the squad, since Superman becomes a free agent this summer.
Dwight has long been criticized for being too soft in the middle, but the ejection led to a slew of tweets criticizing his lack of heart and composure -- Magic Johnson included. Dwight later tweeted an apology to L.A. fans, stating: “Im still upset about tonights game and the way this season ended. Im mad I lost my cool. Im sorry for letting my team and our fans down...”
